Nscale is in talks with Anthropic regarding a $45 billion cloud computing deal, which could be finalized as early as the coming days.

According to Bloomberg, sources familiar with the matter have revealed that AI cloud computing company Nscale is in negotiations with Anthropic for a roughly $45 billion computing power supply agreement, which could be finalized as early as the next few days. No final decision has been reached yet, and the deal details remain subject to change; both parties declined to comment. The agreement covers the second facility at Nscale’s Monarch data center campus in West Virginia, U.S., and will utilize NVIDIA Vera Rubin AI chips to deliver 460 megawatts of computing capacity. Per Nscale’s IPO filings, Anthropic previously signed an infrastructure agreement with the company worth up to around $44.6 billion, and the current talks are for a second large-scale deal. Nscale is targeting a public listing at a valuation of approximately $30 billion, though some investors had previously urged it to lower its valuation target. The company publicly submitted its U.S. listing application in September, and is currently addressing feedback from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on the filing, having not yet launched its official IPO roadshow. Last month, Nscale closed a $3.36 billion pre-IPO financing round led by Third Point, with participation from NVIDIA, Apollo and other investors.
