Aster officials announced in a statement that from 00:00 UTC on October 5, 2026 to 00:00 UTC on October 19, 2026, 99% of the platform’s daily fees were used for token buybacks, totaling 2,721,732.41 ASTER tokens for stakers. An equivalent amount of ASTER tokens allocated to the team has also been burned. Since the project adopted an upgraded token economic model on June 17, 2026, cumulative ASTER burns have reached 32,307,874.94, bringing the project’s total historical cumulative burn to 210,088,876.51. As of October 19, Aster’s estimated annualized staking yields are 4.53% for a 26-week lock-up and 24.8% for a 208-week lock-up; actual yields may differ.
