Elon Musk: Tesla Roadster to Enter Production in 2028

Today, at the Roadster launch event, Elon Musk showcased a video of the Roadster’s jet-assisted takeoff, which showed the car jumping several meters high and leaping over multiple vehicles. Musk also announced that Roadster production will kick off in 2028. The related video has garnered massive traffic on X. Likely driven by this, GMGN data indicates that the Solana-based meme coin Flying Tesla Roadster (FTR) has surged over 100% in a short period. Its current market cap stands at $5.32 million, with trading volume hitting $20.6 million. On FOMO, user @smokey0x purchased $2,797.52 worth of the token when its market cap was $140,000, and now holds an unrealized profit of $100,000. BlockBeats warns users that the token was launched just one day ago; following the notable rally, there is already substantial profit-taking pressure, so investors should exercise caution.

According to GMGN data, AI-themed token AGT, listed on Binance Alpha, rallied sharply last night, surging over 100% in 3 hours from $0.015 to $0.036. Separately, per Lookonchain monitoring, 5 wallet addresses opened 2x long positions on 50.17 million AGT (valued at approx. $1.7 million) on Aster, with unrealized profits of around $887,000. BlockBeats reminds users that related tokens have high price volatility, so investment requires caution.

According to YuEmber monitoring, two wallets belonging to the same entity transferred 14.48 million WLD tokens (valued at $7.21 million) into Binance 9 hours ago.

Hyperliquid Labs co-founder Jeff Yan told Bloomberg’s *Odd Lots* podcast that Hyperliquid is not currently open to U.S. customers. The platform aims to serve as underlying trading technology for traditional financial institutions rather than replacing existing market participants, comparing its positioning to Amazon Web Services (AWS), which provides computing infrastructure for businesses. “We are not looking to replace anything. In fact, I think this technology can benefit institutions that currently operate markets in more traditional ways,” he added. Yan noted that regulatory obligations should fall on financial institutions operating markets on the Hyperliquid blockchain, not the blockchain network itself. This regulatory arrangement would allow Hyperliquid to expand further into Wall Street while avoiding the full compliance burden of traditional exchanges, as blockchains are better suited to serve as underlying infrastructure for order books, clearing, global distribution, and liquidity aggregation. U.S. regulators are cautious about new technologies but also willing to advance innovation quickly. The team is “very serious” about Hyperliquid’s future as a “home for all financial assets.”
