Previously, while Argon had been integrated into the Gemini app, it was only accessible to higher-tier Ultra subscribers within the AI programming tool Antigravity. Now, Pro users can access this flagship model via the Antigravity desktop app and CLI to handle complex programming, debugging, and multi-step development tasks. Google has also set a separate weekly usage quota for Argon for Pro users, which does not take up the existing Gemini 3.8 Flash quota; the two models can be used independently. However, Argon still does not support Antigravity’s built-in IDE, and can only be accessed through the desktop app, CLI, or third-party IDE extensions. Additionally, this access is limited to formal paid Pro subscriptions, with trial subscriptions excluded.
