Binance will shut down its Bitcoin mining pool on November 10, bringing an end to its six-year mining operations.

Binance announced that it will cease Binance Pool and related services starting at 07:00 UTC on November 10, 2026, including Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, Transaction Accelerator, as well as hashrate alerts, email notifications, and mining pool API functions. Binance Pool launched in April 2020. According to Hashrate Index data, as of the end of 2025, the mining pool ranked 9th among Bitcoin mining pools with approximately 26 EH/s of hashrate, accounting for around 2.3% of the total network hashrate. Binance stated that upon service shutdown, it will disconnect miners and deactivate mining pool addresses. Hashrate and mining shares submitted after the deadline will no longer be accepted or counted toward earnings. Miners must switch their devices to other mining pools in advance, while Pool Savings users need to redeem their positions before the service termination. Eligible unsettled rewards, balances, and refunds will be processed subsequently, subject to platform rules and relevant compliance reviews. This adjustment comes as Binance expands its traditional financial business. In June this year, Binance opened trading for over 7,000 US stocks and ETFs to users outside the U.S.; earlier, the platform also shut down its centralized NFT service in July.
