Pump.fun co-founder Alon announced in a post that several major adjustments will be made to the Callout Rewards program in the coming days, with some changes set to take effect starting from today’s reward distribution. The adjustments include reducing the reward weight for callouts on low-market-cap tokens; trading volume will no longer be the primary factor determining rewards, as the focus shifts to the actual profits of followers. Going forward, if relevant participants fail to consistently help followers generate profits, their chances of earning rewards will be significantly reduced.

RippleX Engineering Lead J. Ayo Akinyele stated in a post that securing the XRP Ledger (XRPL) network is the top priority for preserving user trust. Following the earlier disclosure of a critical payment engine vulnerability by Veria AI, the bug had lingered in the codebase for over a decade, with theoretical risks of allowing XRP’s supply to breach its fixed cap. Thankfully, the vulnerability was uncovered through a bug bounty program and remediated before it could be exploited. The XRPL team swiftly developed and comprehensively tested a fix, collaborated with validator node operators to facilitate the network upgrade, and finalized network protections ahead of the vulnerability’s public disclosure.

For most of this year, South Korea has been a standout in the global AI boom. Now, by nearly every metric, South Korean stocks are quickly losing investor attention. Market turnover has plummeted 70% from its late-May peak, foreign investors are fleeing rapidly, and local South Korean retail investors are also exiting. Behind this reversal is South Korea’s stock market’s over-reliance on Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix. Phillip Wool, head of portfolio management at Rayliant Global Advisors, said: “I think for most investors, especially those who recently entered the South Korean market via memory chip trades, the biggest challenge is that the easy money from this theme has already been taken off the table.” He added that his fund has been taking profits on South Korean AI stocks and is currently underweight SK Hynix and Samsung Electronics. Richard Tang of Julius Baer said: “We have observed that capital is increasingly flowing back to U.S. stocks, which has led to sustained foreign outflows from South Korean equities.” Chun-Lai Wu of UBS Global Wealth Management said: “Currently, we prefer to access AI-related investment opportunities through Taiwan stocks; Taiwan has a more mature tech hardware ecosystem and benefits from strong spending plans of major tech companies.”

Beating AI News reports that Thibault Sottiaux, OpenAI’s Head of Products and Platforms, announced Day 6 of the company’s 28-day product sprint. Instead of unveiling new features, he revealed a global usage quota reset, stating the reset would be completed by the end of the day. Per OpenAI’s earlier commitment, the company pledged to either roll out an update daily over the 28-day period that delivers noticeable improvements to most Codex and ChatGPT Work users, or reset usage quotas. Unlike the banked reset (a reserve quota reset opportunity) offered on Day 3, this global reset automatically refreshes usage quotas for eligible accounts, requiring no manual action from users and cannot be saved for later use.

According to official website data, the synthetic perpetual protocol Papertrade built on HyperEVM has recorded a cumulative notional trading volume exceeding $573 billion, open interest of $3.322 billion, and total margin for all existing positions standing at $20.29 million since its launch at 22:00 Beijing time yesterday. Papertrade is a fully on-chain synthetic perpetual trading platform deployed on HyperEVM. It sources prices from the mid-price of Hyperliquid order book’s Best Bid/Offer (BBO), with users trading directly against the protocol’s liquidity providers (LPs) instead of relying on traditional order book matching. The protocol boasts high leverage, zero slippage, and no funding fees. Its native token PAPER has zero initial supply, with no pre-mining, team, or venture capital (VC) allocations; the only minting source is user losses or liquidations. During its early launch phase, the token is non-transferable and is primarily used for staking.
