Founder of Figure AI launches personal AI assistant Hark this week, free for the first 100,000 users.

Beating AI News Flash: Figure AI founder Brett Adcock announced that his personal AI assistant Hark will officially launch this week. The first 100,000 registered users will receive a free paid plan. Hark is designed to remember users long-term and complete tasks directly on their behalf. Its previously disclosed core capability is the web operation agent Handoff. Each time a task is assigned, Handoff launches an isolated virtual computer environment, including a browser, file system, and terminal. It can independently handle tasks like ordering food, shopping, booking flights and restaurants, as well as sourcing candidates on LinkedIn, sending messages, and scheduling interviews. Handoff scored 97.7% in the public Online-Mind2Web human evaluation, currently ranking first, with second-place Yutori Navigator scoring 97.3%. Hark also conducted two additional web operation tests on its own. Combining results from all three tests, Hark claims Handoff outperforms GPT-5.4 by an average of 8 points and Opus 4.8 by 2 points. However, the latter two tests were conducted by Hark using its own evaluation environment, not third-party independent assessments. Hark previously closed a $700 million Series A funding round, with a post-money valuation of $6 billion, with investors including NVIDIA, AMD Ventures, Intel Capital, and Qualcomm Ventures. Previously, Hark’s public showcases were primarily research previews and official demos; this launch marks its official opening to general users.
