Qube Research accelerates expansion into digital asset trading, invests in Treadfi and seeks external fund managers.

According to Bloomberg reporter Muyao Shen, London-based multi-strategy quantitative hedge fund Qube Research & Technologies (QRT) is accelerating its expansion into digital asset trading, investing in trading infrastructure and scouting external fund managers. QRT has made a strategic investment in Treadfi, an algorithmic trading and execution technology provider that supports execution routing across centralized exchanges (CEXs), decentralized perpetual contract exchanges (Perp DEXs) and on-chain protocols. Additionally, QRT is actively recruiting crypto-specialized roles such as quantitative researchers and traders, and is identifying and evaluating external crypto fund managers for separate managed accounts (SMAs).
