Micron’s fiscal quarter revenue guidance beats expectations, with AI demand remaining strong.

2026.10.01 08:08:02

According to the latest report, Micron Technology (MU.O) posted Q4 fiscal 2026 revenue of $54.23 billion, up from $11.32 billion in the year-ago quarter and beating the market consensus estimate of $50.58 billion. The chipmaker also issued a current-quarter sales forecast that exceeded expectations, citing unprecedented demand driven by the rapid growth of artificial intelligence. In a Wednesday statement, Micron projected revenue for the first quarter of its next fiscal year to range from $60 billion to $63 billion, versus analyst average estimates of $56.8 billion. The company expects supply and demand for memory and storage to be far tighter in fiscal 2027 and 2028 than in 2026. Adjusted for certain items, earnings are projected at roughly $38.15 per share, compared with forecasts of $36.02. Following the report’s release, the stock gained less than 1% in after-hours trading.
