A crypto whale has purchased another 7.96 million ENA tokens, valued at approximately $1.99 million.

According to Bitget market data, spot silver has fallen 1% intraday, currently trading at $60.85 per ounce.

Prominent crypto trader Killa posted a note stating that the market is currently drawing parallels between Bitcoin’s price action and its pullback after the 2023 rally to $25,000, though the two market structures are markedly different. In 2023, BTC only formed equal highs around $25,000, failing to close sustainably above that level before plunging sharply. By contrast, BTC has now formed higher highs on the weekly timeframe and is consolidating above its prior resistance level post-breakout. Additionally, the last bear market saw a maximum drawdown of roughly 77%, while this cycle’s stands at around 54%. Killa argues that, accounting for diminishing returns and progressively smaller pullback magnitudes, the main correction in this bull cycle could be closer to 10% to 15%, corresponding to roughly $78,000 and $74,000 respectively. He noted that even if Bitcoin repeats a similar pattern, it would not necessarily breach previous lows as sharply as it did in 2023. Open interest has now reset, prices remain above prior highs, and the market structure looks healthy to him. Killa has not positioned for a major pullback and still targets the $90,000 range.

Velocity, formerly known as Drift, co-founder Cindy announced in a post that she will step down as the exchange completes its rebuild and enters the next operational phase. Cindy and her fellow co-founders began building the perpetual contract trading platform five and a half years ago, launching its early version on Solana in November 2021. The platform has recorded over $150 billion in total trading volume. Cindy stated that the project faced a state-sponsored attack by a North Korean hacking group in April this year, with attackers having carried out six months of social engineering infiltration prior to the incident. Following the attack, the team reached an agreement with Tether within 10 days to enable user asset recovery, and collaborated with zeroShadow and multiple international law enforcement agencies to freeze and retrieve related assets. Over the past months, the team has implemented comprehensive security upgrades to the exchange. This week, Velocity completed audits by osec.io and Asymmetric Research, fully open-sourced its trading platform code, and officially relaunched. The team will later develop features including a Central Limit Order Book (CLOB) and Prop AMM, while continuing to advance asset recovery efforts and user growth. Cindy explained that she excels at building projects from scratch (0 to 1), while Velocity now needs an operational team capable of driving the project from 1 to 10. She will continue to support Velocity and the founders and teams it has invested in after her departure.

According to an official announcement, crypto exchange Bitget has released its 47th Proof of Reserves (PoR) report. The platform’s total reserve ratio stands at 131%, covering 19 asset classes. Specifically, the reserve ratios for BTC, ETH, USDT, and USDC are 142%, 110%, 107%, and 154% respectively. Bitget has updated its PoR on a monthly basis since December 2022, and expanded its coverage from 4 asset classes to 19 in September this year to provide users with broader visibility into the platform’s reserves. The exchange’s historical average reserve ratio has remained above 120%, exceeding the 100% coverage benchmark, ensuring full coverage of insured users’ assets.

Binance Pay will allow eligible overseas users to pay most PayPay-accepting merchants via USDT when visiting Japan starting Wednesday. The service runs on the payment interoperability framework HIVEX, with merchants settling in Japanese yen. Binance says this marks the first crypto payment service to integrate with PayPay’s merchant network through HIVEX, and participating merchants do not need to apply separately or enable the feature individually. PayPay is now accepted at millions of locations across Japan, including large chain stores, small and medium retailers, vending machines, taxis, public transport, and other settings. HIVEX also supports nine overseas payment services, primarily from mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, China. Japan welcomed 42.7 million international tourists in 2025; in the first eight months of 2026, visitor arrivals to Japan reached 27.6 million, a 2.7% year-on-year drop.

ARK Invest founder Cathie Wood announced in a post that the firm has integrated private prediction market platform Kalshi into its ETF strategy. Wood noted that Kalshi’s management team is outstanding and is proactively positioning for the future development of prediction markets. She did not disclose details including the specific ETFs involved, allocation size, or concrete trading arrangements.
