Global actively managed ETFs' asset size and annual net inflow both hit new highs.

Independent ETF research and consulting firm ETFGI recently released a report showing that as of the end of August 2026, global actively managed ETFs had assets under management (AUM) of $2.72 trillion, with net inflows totaling $663.6 billion — both all-time highs. In terms of growth, global actively managed ETF AUM has risen 42.6% year-to-date, underscoring sustained investor demand for such products. ETFGI attributed the large inflows to the top 20 ETF/ETP products by net new assets, which together pulled in $25.39 billion in August. The top three on the list are: Avantis U.S. Large Cap Value ETF, with a monthly net inflow of $3.41 billion; Yinhua Daily Income ETF, with a monthly net inflow of $2.66 billion; and ProShares GENIUS Money Market ETF, with a monthly net inflow of $2.145 billion.
