Franklin Templeton Expands Its Tokenized Collateral Services to Bybit

Decentralized privacy computing project Acurast announced it has achieved large-scale deployment of the open-source "System 1" decision model Laya on its smartphone-powered network. Developed by Convai Innovations and licensed under Apache-2.0, the model is designed primarily for real-time decision-making rather than traditional text generation. Acurast stated that Laya runs on Android smartphone nodes and is currently used for tasks including real-time gaming, autonomous navigation, email sorting, news headline recognition, content moderation, and prompt injection attack defense. Each decision typically takes 0.2 to 1 second to complete, operating exclusively on CPU. The project added that its network has connected over 280,000 smartphones across more than 175 countries and regions worldwide, and has processed more than 918 million on-chain transactions.

Bitmine announced that as of September 27, it added 17,362 ETH last week, bringing its total ETH holdings to 6,001,302. Valued at $2,698 per ETH, the stake is worth approximately $16.2 billion, accounting for 4.9% of Ethereum’s total supply. The company noted that since launching its ETH Treasury Strategy on June 30, 2025, it has consistently added ETH weekly without interruption. Currently, 5,067,309 of Bitmine’s ETH are staked, representing 84% of its total ETH holdings. At the current staking yield, it expects annualized staking revenue of roughly $358 million. As of September 27, Bitmine’s combined value of crypto assets, cash and tradable securities, and "Moonshots" investments totals about $17.2 billion, with cash and tradable securities amounting to approximately $672 million.

Solana treasury firm DeFi Development Corp. (Nasdaq: DFDV) announced that it has added roughly 47,706 SOL tokens since September 21, bringing its holdings of SOL and equivalent assets to around 2.538 million SOL, with a total value of approximately $309 million, up about 2% from last week. Since releasing its second-quarter earnings on August 12, DFDV has cumulatively added more than 226,000 SOL tokens, growing its holdings by roughly 10%. The company stated it will continue expanding its SOL reserves through purchases, staking, and validator node operations, and will use the recently established $300 million CHAD ATM financing facility to support further acquisitions. Additionally, DFDV noted that its Nasdaq-listed variable-rate preferred stock CHAD currently carries an annual dividend yield of 13%, and the company plans to use revenue generated from SOL staking and validator node operations to fund these CHAD dividends.

According to Reuters, citing an official familiar with the negotiations, mediators are expected to hold separate meetings with the U.S. and Iran on Monday or Tuesday.
