Two dormant entities inactive for over 13 years reactivated simultaneously, collectively transferring 200 BTC.

Since September, multiple long-dormant Bitcoin wallets have initiated transfers one after another, with September 19 being no exception. Before a transfer from a 2011 wallet, four other early P2PKH (Pay-to-Public-Key-Hash) wallets each moved 25 BTC, totaling 100 BTC. All four transactions were confirmed at block height 967722. These four wallets were all created in February or March 2013, a period marked by high Bitcoin price volatility and the peak of the Cyprus banking crisis in March 2013. On March 1, 2013, Bitcoin traded at roughly $32, rising to $91.95 by March 31. On-chain data shows the four P2PKH addresses acquired the 100 BTC at an extremely low cost. Just 10 blocks later, at block height 967732, an even older wallet transferred 100 BTC. Created on November 2, 2011, this address moved the 100 BTC in a single transaction from a P2PKH address to a newer P2WPKH (Pay-to-Witness-Public-Key-Hash) wallet. The Bitcoin was originally acquired at just $3.24 per coin. The funds were then fully transferred, with the wallet utilizing the "send all funds at once" feature. It is reasonable to infer that the four 25-BTC transfers, which later flowed into the same wallet, belong to the same entity. This aggregation transaction ultimately landed in a P2WPKH wallet belonging to custodian BitGo.
