Well-known crypto trader Bonk Guy posted consecutive comments before and after the launch of Hunter Biden-related meme coin LAPTOP, delivering negative reviews of the token. Prior to LAPTOP’s launch, Unipcs warned followers not to lose funds over the token, labeling it an upcoming "pump and dump" scheme, and advised buying and holding USELESS while waiting for its market cap to surge to billions of dollars. After LAPTOP’s launch, Unipcs again stated in a post that the token’s launch was "much ado about nothing", noting that as he had anticipated, it spiked before falling back to near zero. He also sarcastically called out traders who had panic-sold USELESS amid LAPTOP’s launch, urging them to repurchase the token at higher prices.
