Nasdaq-listed Vida Global (ticker: VIDA)’s Lyle Pratt posted on X early this morning, stating: “It would be interesting if a meme coin could indirectly contribute to the underlying company’s treasury, perhaps via transaction fees or licensing agreements. This would create a further flywheel effect between the meme asset and its base entity.” In response, Vibhu, product lead at the Solana Foundation, replied: “We can create a meme coin launchpad for your stock — happy to help.” Pratt noted that in-depth discussions on the topic could be held. Public information shows that Vida Global is dedicated to driving enterprises to build, deploy, and sell AI agents at scale. According to GMGN market data, the meme coin CTO — which uses the company’s stock token as its liquidity pool on Solana ecosystem launch platform Stonk — currently has a market cap of $7.47 million, with a 51% 24-hour increase.

According to a post on Liquid Network’s official X account (@Liquid_BTC), an alleged white-hat hacker withdrew roughly 4,000 BTC (worth approximately $320 million) from the Liquid Federation wallet using SideSwap PAK (Peg-out Authorization Key). The project’s official noted that the key itself was not compromised, and the Blockstream team is attempting to contact the hacker via on-chain signed messages. Following the incident, multiple exchanges have suspended or will soon suspend LBTC deposit and withdrawal services; bridge nodes have been temporarily shut down, and the Liquid sidechain is currently suspended, unable to process new transactions. The official stressed that other Liquid assets including USDT, DePix, and RWA are not affected by this event. Federation members are actively working to resolve the issue and restore normal network operations as soon as possible.

South Korea’s leading investment bank Meritz Securities has weighed in on OpenAI’s new GPT-6 Astra model, noting its significant technological advances—consistent with reports of surging GPU rental prices following Astra’s launch. It’s important to note that a drop in AI token prices does not necessarily reduce or slow the total addressable market (TAM) for AI hardware. Instead, the emergence of models like Astra could create another inflection point for the AI industry and structurally boost AI demand. “September’s stock market remains unsettled by high interest rates. Within the Korean market, hurdles persist—including the need to absorb a round of earnings forecast cuts driven by the sharp appreciation of the Korean won ahead of the Q3 preview season. According to crypto monitoring platform Yu Jing, the 433,000 HYPE tokens (valued at $38.14 million) that HyperLabs, the development team behind Hyperliquid, applied to redeem seven days ago were deposited into its address 12 hours ago. Nine hours later, the tokens were transferred to 11 separate addresses. The team now un-stakes and transfers out over 400,000 HYPE tokens monthly, which essentially equals its monthly staking interest income: the 241 million HYPE tokens it holds (worth $21.2 billion) generate a daily staking interest of 14,400 HYPE ($1.26 million), meaning the monthly interest is exactly the amount the team transfers out each month.

Crypto analyst Ted’s data shows that open interest in altcoins has now exceeded that of Bitcoin in the crypto market, marking the first such occurrence since December 2024. Ted also added a caption: “Do you remember what happened to altcoins after December 2024?”, hinting that altcoins, which saw sharp short-term gains, are prone to triggering liquidation events.

According to Yu Jing Monitoring, the Garrett Jin whale entity is the largest holder of native short positions in Zcash. The entity shorted 32,760 ZEC in early July at an entry price of $444. Over the past three months, ZEC’s price has surged from $400 to over $1,200, leaving the short position with an unrealized loss of $25.7 million. The entity also holds a long Bitcoin (BTC) position worth $107 million, generating an unrealized profit of $4.42 million, though it has paid $2.05 million in funding fees.
