Insight Beating AI News Flash: Enterprise AI firm Wonderful has closed a $550 million Series C funding round, valuing the company at $5 billion. Insight Partners led the round for the second time, while Salesforce is the only new investor in this round. Wonderful, which raised $150 million in March this year at a $2 billion valuation, has seen its valuation surge 2.5 times in less than six months, bringing its total funding to over $800 million. The company offers an enterprise AI platform that integrates various models, agents, workflows, and existing enterprise systems, and deploys on-site FDEs (Field Deployment Engineers) to assist clients with implementation. It currently operates in more than 35 markets, has over 100 enterprise clients, and employs around 650 people. Wonderful’s revenue has grown rapidly: its annualized revenue stood at roughly $1 million in August last year, rose to $7 million by year-end, reached $18 million in Q1 this year, and is now about $70 million, with a target of exceeding $100 million by the end of this year. Based on current revenue, the $5 billion valuation translates to approximately 71 times annualized revenue. In addition to the funding round, investors also allocated an extra $170 million to purchase shares from employees and early angel investors.

Identity of Europe’s Leading AI Model Revealed: Quasar 438B Built on Zhipu GLM-5.2

Insight Beating AI Flash News: Shortly after Spanish AI firm Multiverse Computing billed Quasar 438B as “Europe’s strongest AI model”, the community uncovered its connection to Zhipu GLM-5.2. Artificial Analysis has now directly labeled the model as “Quasar 438B (max, based on GLM-5.2)”, explicitly noting it is built on GLM-5.2. Clues were also present in Multiverse’s old documents: when Quasar 438B launched its beta on August 5, CompactifAI’s update log stated its capabilities were “exactly identical” to GLM-5.2. The community is now questioning whether Quasar is merely a renamed, compressed or modified version of GLM-5.2. Multiverse has not yet disclosed its architecture, training methodology, or the exact relationship between the two models. Multiverse’s core business is model compression, yet its current FAQ still lists Quasar under “Original Models” rather than “Compressed Models”. GLM-5.2 has around 753 billion total parameters, with 40 billion activated during inference, scoring 53 points on Artificial Analysis’s max-tier intelligence index. Quasar, reduced to 438 billion parameters, only scores 43 points, but its output speed is approximately 174 tokens per second, significantly faster than GLM-5.2’s roughly 68 tokens per second.
