Human research is now being scaled by AI: Conveo raises $50 million in Series A funding.

Beating AI News – AI consumer research firm Conveo has closed a $50 million Series A funding round, pushing its total capital raised to $55.8 million. Investors in the round include DST Global Partners, Balderton, Visionaries, 6 Degrees Capital, and Y Combinator, with the new funds earmarked primarily for U.S. expansion. Conveo’s core service is straightforward: it leverages AI to conduct interviews with real people on behalf of researchers. Consumers answer questions via video, voice, or text, and the AI follows up with context-aware questions instead of sticking to a rigid fixed questionnaire. Hundreds of interviews can run simultaneously, and post-interview, the AI automatically organizes themes, verbatim responses, and conclusions. What once took weeks of qualitative research can now yield results in as little as a few days. Conveo has already been integrated into the research workflows of numerous large corporations. The company states over 400 enterprises use its platform, including more than 50 Fortune 500 firms, with clients such as Google, Unilever, Anheuser-Busch InBev, and Canva. It is also shifting from one-off interviews to long-term services, where AI continuously engages with consumers and accumulates results from each round into a unified knowledge base.
