The $200 billion financing behemoth behind Anthropic: Wall Street is buying chips, while Google and Broadcom provide backing.

Beating AI News: Behind Anthropic’s Google computing power deal, a roughly $200 billion financing and contract ecosystem has been set up. The Financial Times reports that around 80% of this structure is tied to TPU chips. Anthropic does not need to front all the capital itself; funds for chip purchases come mainly from Wall Street, while Google and Broadcom provide backing for data centers and chips respectively. The first batch of TPU chips, totaling ~$35 billion and 1GW, is first sold by Google to Broadcom, then transferred to a special purpose vehicle (SPV)—a financing entity established exclusively for this transaction. Firms including Apollo and Blackstone provide debt financing to the SPV, which buys roughly 1 million TPU chips and leases them to Anthropic. Broadcom offers residual value support for around $30 billion of this amount. If Anthropic defaults on rent payments later and proceeds from selling the TPU chips are insufficient to repay debts, Broadcom will cover the shortfall for senior creditors. Data centers are backed by Google’s guarantees: Google underwrites Anthropic’s leases, enabling developers to borrow funds for data center construction using Google’s credit. The FT notes that Google has supported 10 projects totaling 2.4GW, with a maximum potential exposure of around $440 billion. The full chain operates as: Wall Street funds chip purchases, Anthropic pays rent, Broadcom guarantees chip residual value, and Google backs data center leases. A multi-hundred-billion-dollar computing power order is thus split into layers of financing and guarantees.

According to official announcements, Upbit has designated Injective (INJ) as a "Trading Attention Project". Currently, Injective (INJ)'s deposit and withdrawal services have been suspended. When services resume, only withdrawal functionality will be opened first. BlockBeats previously reported that Injective stopped block production for approximately 3 hours and 42 minutes on August 31, with the block height recovering from 181,027,006 to 181,027,007, and no rollback occurred during the period. QuickNode's status records also show that the Injective mainnet experienced a global block stall that day, prompting the deployment of an emergency patch. Attackers are suspected of repeatedly exploiting Injective's insurance fund and permissionless binary options market creation mechanism, executing a total of 299 related operations, ultimately transferring approximately 1,979.8 ETH (valued at around $4.88 million) to a single address.

Aster: Team-allocated 400 million ASTER tokens have their unlock period extended by 12 months to September 2027.

Aster’s official team announced via social media that the cliff period for the unlock of 400 million ASTER tokens (accounting for 5% of the total maximum supply) allocated to its core team has been extended from September 17, 2026 to September 17, 2027. Originally, the team allocation was set to unlock 10 million ASTER monthly starting September 17, 2026; this token portion has remained fully locked since the Token Generation Event (TGE) and will continue to be locked until the new extended date. Aster noted that this adjustment will not impact ASTER’s buyback-and-burn mechanism: for every 1 ASTER repurchased, an equal amount of ASTER will be burned from reserves, with team-allocated tokens prioritized for such burns.

Greeks.live: Strategy’s resumed BTC buying activity is unlikely to alter Bitcoin’s long-term trajectory, as sustaining above $80,000 still faces significant pressure.

Greeks.live noted in a recent article that if Strategy resumes its BTC purchases soon, it will only deliver short-term stimulus and fail to change Bitcoin’s long-term trajectory. After booking unrealized gains, Strategy has more room to add to its holdings, but over a longer cycle, BTC ETFs as a whole remain in net outflow, making it quite challenging for BTC to hold above $80,000 given substantial selling pressure. Currently, no single participant in the BTC market can manipulate or accurately predict its price movements. On the macro front, the Federal Reserve’s hawkish comments and escalating U.S.-Iran tensions are further testing investors’ already fragile sentiment. Moreover, BTC’s short-term volatility has plummeted rapidly, and a single bullish candlestick is insufficient to sustain a bull market. If BTC can rebound above $85,000 after a minor pullback, the market structure may improve; otherwise, arbitrageurs and sellers could bring heavy selling pressure. Gamma exposure (GEX) is accumulating at month-end, and the market still needs additional upward momentum to maintain its trend.

London Stock Exchange Platform to Launch UK Tokenized Equity Structures, Partner with Payward

The London Stock Exchange (LSE) has announced plans to launch tokenized equity structures in the UK, and has partnered with financial infrastructure platform Payward to explore how regulated market infrastructure and native digital distribution models can support the development of a tokenized public equity market. The initiative aims to expand access to capital markets while preserving shareholder rights, investor protections, and governance standards in existing public markets. The partnership will focus on researching digital wallet interactions, connections between on-chain ecosystems and traditional regulated capital markets, and exploring the application of public and private blockchains in securities markets while meeting regulatory requirements such as anti-money laundering (AML) and operational resilience. Additionally, the London Stock Exchange plans to list and trade xStocks on its 24-hour trading platform LSE 24 in 2027, subject to regulatory approval.
