Polygon PoS nodes have lost consensus, prompting Polygon Labs to issue an emergency client upgrade advisory.

Polygon Labs has issued an emergency notice, stating that Polygon PoS nodes still running older versions of Bor or Heimdall have fallen out of consensus after the activation of the Austin and Kyoto hard forks, requiring client upgrades to catch up with network progress. Austin was activated at mainnet block 91,949,700, with nodes required to run Bor v2.10.0 or above; Kyoto was activated at block height 51,533,000, requiring nodes to run Heimdall v0.11.0 or higher. The announcement adds that Austin fixed two types of Bor resource exhaustion risks: L1-to-L2 bridge state synchronization events were not included in gas limits, which could slow block processing; and the TxDependency field lacks size restrictions, potentially causing peer nodes to crash.

Robinhood Chain meme coin COPPERINU surges past $10 million market cap within 2 hours of launch, as the developer transfers 40% of tokens to KOL Him’s wallet.

According to GMGN market data, the Robinhood Chain meme token COPPERINU surged to a $10 million market cap within two hours of launch before pulling back, currently trading at $8.98 million, with its trading volume exceeding $5.7 million. On the news front, the token’s developer transferred 40% of its total supply to crypto KOL Him’s wallet. Him later publicly stated he is willing to develop the token to include features such as staking, claiming, and burning, and will use this portion of tokens for community airdrops. The COPPERINU meme originates from a January tweet by crypto KOL Cobie, who joked that trading real-world commodities like copper doesn’t need to worry about "Copper Inu" diverting attention, nor will anyone keep launching new "copper products" on Pump.fun. Crypto KOL Him previously led the promotion of the SOL-based meme token COPPERINU at the time, and is regarded by the community as the "top holder" of this theme and the main driver of its narrative. BlockBeats reminds users that related tokens experience high price volatility, so investors should exercise caution.

Bloomberg’s chief economist: Next week’s non-farm payrolls data is likely to be weak, and the probability of the Federal Reserve raising interest rates may decline.

Bloomberg’s chief economist Anna Wong noted in a report that next week’s non-farm payrolls (NFP) report may come in weak, with a meaningful probability of logging negative growth, a development that will exert a key influence on the Federal Reserve’s policy trajectory. She pointed out that if two consecutive negative NFP prints are recorded, there is no precedent in the modern Fed’s history for raising interest rates under such circumstances.
