Circle has launched native USDC and EURC on Plasma, integrating cross-chain transfer protocols CCTP and Bridge Kit. Institutional users can leverage USDC for fiat deposits, withdrawals, storage, and API access on the Plasma platform, while retail users can access USDC via the Plasma One web app and card. Following the launch, Circle’s native supported chains have expanded to 37 for USDC, 8 for EURC, and 28 for CCTP.

According to DefiLlama data, Robinhood Chain’s token launch platform has generated $2.21 million in fees over the past 24 hours, ranking as the second-largest token launch platform by fee revenue and jumping to 6th place across the entire network. However, it still lags significantly behind industry leader pump.fun, which pulled in $6.83 million in 24-hour fees and ranks 2nd overall. Though Uniswap and SushiSwap have recently launched their own token launch platforms on Robinhood Chain, Pons’ top position is growing increasingly solid. Per Dune data, Pons has held the No.1 spot for token deployment volume on Robinhood Chain for multiple consecutive days. On the 28th alone, Pons V2 deployed a total of 11,496 tokens, accounting for 49.59% of all tokens issued on Robinhood Chain.

Decentralized lending protocol Ajna tweeted that its v2 version was hit by a vulnerability exploit, and the team is investigating abnormal fund flows. The protocol advised users to withdraw all funds, repay outstanding loans, and halt interactions with the platform. Separately, Defimon Alerts monitored that Ajna’s losses from the incident total around $775,000, involving pools including syrupUSDC, wstETH, rETH, cbETH, WBTC, WETH/USDC, and sDAI. The attack is attributed to a liquidation accounting manipulation exploit.

Jiang Zhuoer, founder of BTC mining pool B.TOP, posted that Bitcoin ETFs recorded net outflows on Friday, ending a 9-day consecutive inflow streak. Against the backdrop of Fed Chair Waller’s hawkish remarks, BTC will face its first test since the recent rally. Jiang also confirmed he sold 50% of his spot ETH positions during Friday’s price decline.

South Korea’s five leading crypto centralised exchanges (CEXs) — Upbit, Bithumb, Coinone, DigitalX, and GOPAX — posted a total trading volume of around 31.1 trillion won (approximately $23 billion) in the week of August 21–28. This represented an 188.04% week-over-week surge from the prior week’s 10.8 trillion won, hitting the highest level in nearly 10 months since late October 2025. In terms of market share, Upbit retained the top spot with 59.61%, while Bithumb ranked second at 33.11%. The rebranded DigitalX (formerly Korbit) saw its market share rise sharply by 3.477 percentage points to 4.21%, surpassing Coinone (3.05%) to claim third place, notching the platform’s highest market share in nearly 20 weeks.

Hyperliquid HIP-4 permissionless deployments are now live, with the first HIP-4-based outcome DEX, "OUT", fully deployed. Per Hyperliquid’s developer documentation, HIP-4 enables deployers to permissionlessly create YES/NO or multi-outcome markets using templates approved via validator votes.
