Beating AI News (Dongcha) – Cursor co-founder and CEO Michael Truell posted that OpenAI has issued a notice planning to block Cursor users from accessing OpenAI models in three months. Truell said OpenAI models currently account for roughly 5% of Cursor’s user traffic, and the company is in talks with OpenAI’s team to resolve the issue. Truell noted that Cursor was among OpenAI’s earliest users, with the two parties collaborating for years. Cursor has long trusted OpenAI to operate its platform as a "neutral infrastructure" for its business. This partnership shift comes as Cursor faces dual pressures: intensifying competition in the AI coding tools market, and model providers building their own applications. Previous reports noted that two weeks after SpaceX completed its $60 billion acquisition of Cursor, OpenAI announced the end of their nearly four-year partnership. New models will no longer integrate with Cursor, and direct supply of existing models is set to cease on November 12, 2026. The contract between the two parties allows OpenAI to terminate the agreement following Cursor’s acquisition. OpenAI’s move this time is almost a direct rebuke targeting Elon Musk: the company stated that after Musk acquired Twitter, Twitter violated its contract with OpenAI; this year, Musk also admitted in court that xAI had improperly used OpenAI models.

Ripple is proactively deploying quantum-resistant capabilities for the XRP Ledger (XRPL) to address the risk that future quantum computers could crack existing blockchain cryptography and steal digital asset private keys. Ayo Akinyele, Ripple’s senior director of engineering, said the goal is not to wait until quantum computing becomes an imminent threat to act, but to ensure critical financial infrastructure is upgraded before the threat arrives. According to Lookonchain’s monitoring, large crypto whales have recently been withdrawing SOL from trading platforms in concentrated moves. Address 5p6zPz withdrew 281,446 SOL from Binance approximately 9 hours ago, valued at around $29.68 million. Another address, 3WzfuP, pulled 37,272 SOL from Kraken roughly 1 hour ago, worth about $3.87 million. The two transactions combined total 318,718 SOL withdrawn, with a combined value of approximately $33.55 million.

According to Lookonchain’s monitoring, Bitcoin treasury firm Metaplanet transferred a total of 3,000 BTC to Coinbase Prime over the past 24 hours, worth approximately $237 million. Metaplanet has repeatedly moved BTC to Coinbase Prime in prior transactions. It should be noted that transfers to Coinbase Prime do not equal confirmation of a sale, as the platform offers institutional custody, trading, and financing services.
