Separately, the voting phase for the "Resource and Inclusion Fees" proposal has also wrapped up, with a participation rate of 61.14%. Here, 53.9% of votes were in favor, 18.92% opposed, and 27.18% abstained, falling short of the two-thirds threshold needed to pass. This proposal would introduce a transaction fee mechanism based on resource consumption, charging fees based on network resources consumed by transactions, and is expected to boost daily SOL burn from the current ~650 coins to between 7,500 and 9,000 coins.

Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas noted that Bitwise’s Solana ETF has just surpassed the $1 billion mark, becoming the first Solana ETF to hit this milestone.
