Sources familiar with the matter said AI firm Anthropic will lease data centers from AI infrastructure provider Nscale for $45 billion, securing roughly 460 megawatts of computing power capacity. The sources added that Nscale will supply computing power to Anthropic from its data centers in West Virginia, U.S., and plans to invest $71 billion to develop the project.

Dallas Fed releases a report stating that the widespread adoption of tokenized deposits could increase deposit sensitivity to interest rates, accelerate cross-bank fund flows, and weaken banks’ liquidity and maturity transformation capabilities, thereby impacting bank credit supply and funding costs. The report notes that unlike stablecoins such as USDT and USDC, tokenized deposits are typically issued by regulated banks and accrue interest.
