Trader Lu Yao: The crypto market remains in a bear cycle, with only HYPE in a bull run, and it will keep setting new all-time highs.

Renowned crypto trader Lu Yao stated in a post that any price trend projection is merely a probability game, and traders must recognize this to avoid irrational decisions and over-leveraging positions. He believes the entire crypto market remains in a bear market, with only HYPE in a bull cycle, as it has hit an all-time high and will continue to do so. Following the recent market rebound, Lu Yao noted that the broader crypto market is still in a major bear cycle, but may have entered the first half of the bear market’s late stage—dubbed the "monkey market," characterized by sharp, volatile swings. The current rally is expected to continue, with Bitcoin potentially testing $90,000 to $100,000, but judging by its duration and prior drawdown, the bear cycle has not yet concluded, and the market may face further sharp volatility. Crypto investors should avoid being fully cash or fully invested at this stage, and participate with appropriate position sizing. According to HTX market data, HYPE has shown strong momentum recently, surging sharply from its $51 phase low, briefly breaking through its all-time high of $83, and is currently trading at $81.
