BitMEX co-founder and Maelstrom Chief Investment Officer Arthur Hayes has published an article addressing questions about why he is investing in AI and crypto projects despite spotting an AI bubble. New developments have emerged in the Coldcard hardware wallet theft incident that took place in July 2026. An investigation by Block’s Bitkey team revealed that first-round attackers used a paid account from a leading blockchain data service provider to query affected addresses. The platform’s internal logs align closely with the attack’s request volume, timing, and execution sequence, and the attacker’s identity may now be known to law enforcement.
