Ethereum's new Testnet, Hoodi, has been launched and will activate the Pectra network upgrade on March 26th.

The Ethereum Foundation has issued an article indicating that the activation of the Pectra testnet has unveiled issues related to client configurations within the deposit contract on the Ethereum testnet. While the recovery process of Sepolia was relatively simple and the network has now completely recovered, Holesky encountered a significant non-activeness leakage in its recovery mechanism. The Holesky network has been finalized since then, but it will take approximately one year for exiting validators to be fully removed from the validator set. Although stakers can test deposits, merges, and all other Pectra features, the scale of the exit queue makes it impractical for Holesky to test the full validator lifecycle within a reasonable time frame.
