10-year U.S. Treasury note auction yield hits highest level since the financial crisis

Local time on Wednesday, the U.S. Treasury Department issued $42 billion in 10-year Treasury notes, with the auction’s winning yield rising to its highest level since 2007. While investors still showed some demand, the required return for purchasing U.S. Treasuries has grown increasingly higher.
