The United States has revoked the ban on TikTok use by federal government devices.

Crypto travel infrastructure firm Entravel Group has closed a $7.5 million funding round, co-led by Ethereal Ventures (led by Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin) and Finality Capital, with participation from GSR, Varrock, G1 Ventures, Seier Capital, and other investors. Entravel provides travel booking systems for crypto and fintech platforms including Kraken and MetaMask, currently serving over 40 brands with a combined total of roughly 300 million users. The company plans to deploy the funds to expand supplier credit lines, boost booking volumes, enter the traditional travel market, and build a stablecoin-based financial system for settlements, fund management, and working capital.

Market research firm Counterpoint Research’s report reveals that in Q2 2026, as AI workloads transition from training to inference, enterprise-grade SSD (eSSD) accounted for 48% of global NAND shipments, nearly double the 26% recorded in the year-ago period. Server-side demand has tightened consumer-grade NAND supply, lifting industry revenue to a record high—up roughly five times from Q2 2025. On the vendor front, Samsung retained the top spot with a 25% shipment share, though down from 32% in Q2 2024, driven by its priority allocation of high-margin DRAM production capacity. SK Hynix ranked second with a 22% share; its subsidiary Solidigm saw NAND bit shipments rise 40% quarter-over-quarter. Yangtze Memory Technologies (YMTC) lifted its shipment share to 14%, surpassing Kioxia to enter the global top three for the first time. Its shipments grew 22% year-over-year and 5% quarter-over-quarter. Counterpoint pointed out that while YMTC ranked third by shipment volume, it placed fifth by revenue, trailing Micron and Kioxia, mainly due to its product mix remaining focused on consumer applications with a lower share of high-value data center eSSDs. The company plans to further expand its eSSD product portfolio in the second half of the year. The report forecasts that by the end of 2026, server eSSDs will account for more than half of global NAND bit shipments. As servers emerge as the primary driver of NAND demand, future vendor competition will hinge more on high-value product portfolios rather than just overall shipment scale.

Renowned crypto trader Doctor Profit posted that a historical Bitcoin metric is signaling that a bottom has formed or is very near. In 2015, 2019, and 2022, bear market bottom formation phases all began when Bitcoin’s realized price for holders with a 3–6 month holding period crossed below that of holders with a 1–2 year holding period. He notes this means newer buyers are capitulating and selling at a loss, with Bitcoin gradually shifting into the hands of longer-term holders. This crossover is now occurring for the fourth time, while BTC’s price sits below the average cost basis of both groups of holders. However, historically this signal does not trigger an immediate reversal; Bitcoin typically undergoes several more months of sideways trading to complete its bottom formation, so this phase can also be viewed as a long-term accumulation zone. Doctor Profit believes the market is currently in the bear market bottom formation and long-term accumulation phase. The trader added that over the past several weeks, he has been accumulating BTC in batches within the $54,000–$64,000 range, and continues to build his position gradually by adding 5% of his total portfolio each time.

Nvidia is collaborating with Google, Microsoft, and over 80 equipment and infrastructure vendors to advance the 800V DC power architecture, addressing power efficiency and conversion loss issues caused by the continuous rise in AI server rack power density. The company plans to gradually roll out the solution to existing AI factories starting in the second half of 2026. Nvidia states that the current bottleneck for AI infrastructure is no longer just total power wattage, but the efficiency of electricity delivery from the grid to GPUs. The 800V DC architecture reduces power conversion steps between the grid and accelerators. Nvidia plans to launch 800V DC power racks compatible with the MGX architecture in the second half of 2026, allowing existing data centers to upgrade gradually without major renovations to buildings and power systems. For new or high-density AI factories, Nvidia plans to introduce row-based power centers in 2027, which will power multiple rack rows via overhead 800V DC busbars, with each rack row supporting up to 2MW of power. Long-term, the company plans to deploy DC Power Blocks at the facility level to convert grid power directly to 800V DC. Nvidia, Google, and Microsoft are also driving relevant standardization efforts through the Open Compute Project. As AI servers evolve from the hundreds of kilowatt range to the megawatt range, specifications for equipment including high-voltage DC/DC converters, solid-state transformers, busbars, power semiconductors, and power modules will also be upgraded accordingly.

According to market data from BIT (bit.com), CoreWeave’s pre-market stock price surged over 17%, currently trading at $106. Earlier reports noted that CoreWeave, a U.S.-based AI-dedicated cloud computing service provider, released its second-quarter results: revenue hit $2.575 billion, growing 112% year-over-year and exceeding the expected $2.56 billion. Its core metric, revenue backlog, reached approximately $104 billion, up from $99.4 billion at the end of the first quarter. The company’s CEO stated that the expected profit margin of contracts signed in Q2 is 5 to 10 percentage points higher than that of new contracts in recent quarters.
