On May 3, Xinhua News Agency reported that Iranian media disclosed on the 2nd the latest peace proposal Iran recently sent to the U.S. via intermediary Pakistan. The 14-point proposal centers on "ending the war." Iran is awaiting an official U.S. response. Key provisions of the proposal include: ensuring no further military aggression; U.S. troop withdrawal from areas around Iran; lifting the maritime blockade; unfreezing Iran’s frozen assets; paying compensation; removing sanctions; achieving peace across all fronts (including Lebanon); and establishing a new management mechanism for the Strait of Hormuz. Through this proposal, Iran has set a firm "red line" and "presented a clear roadmap to end this imposed conflict." Per HTX market data, Bitcoin briefly surged above $79,000 this morning before retreating from its high. It is currently trading at $78,660, up 0.65% over the past 24 hours. Total liquidations across the entire crypto network in the last 24 hours reached $157 million, with $39.01 million in long positions and $118 million in short positions liquidated.
