「3x Short on ASTER」 Whale Partially Gives Back Profits, Hyperliquid's Biggest Short Whale Counter-Longs ASTER, Becomes Long Whale Lead

On November 12th, as per the monitoring of HyperInsight, two addresses labeled as Abraxas Capital (0x5b5) and (0xb83) continued to increment their ASTER long positions in tandem yesterday and this morning. The overall position size reached $8.16 million, with average entry prices of $0.99 and $1.09 respectively, currently demonstrating a total unrealized gain of $750,000.
In Abraxas Capital's 12-asset book value holdings, with the exception of ASTER, all are short positions. The total nominal value of the holdings of the two addresses is approximately $430 million, making them hold the largest short position in the Hyperliquid contract. In the previous news on November 5th, the two addresses of Abraxas Capital initiated small ASTER long positions at $1.03. The main address (0x5b5) had an average entry price of around $0.91, and the total position size of the two addresses reached $2.4 million.
According to the monitoring, the "3x ASTER Short" whale (0x9ee) who significantly increased their short position after CZ's ASTER buy-in still maintains the top short position in the ASTER contract on Hyperliquid. As of the time of this writing, the position remains open, with the current size being $48.99 million, an average price of $1.2, and the unrealized gain decreasing from over $7 million at the peak to $2.92 million.
