21Shares has launched the Pendle ETP (APEN) on the Swiss Stock Exchange.

According to Nikkei News, the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT), which oversees cross-border interbank payment services, is currently pushing forward the full-scale adoption of blockchain (distributed ledger) technology. SWIFT has launched a pilot initiative with 17 global banks including U.S. Citigroup and Mitsubishi UFJ Bank, aiming to leverage digital "tokenized deposits" to enable 24/7 instant cross-border remittances. If the scheme is validated to be effective in reducing remittance processing time and cutting fees, among other metrics, it is expected to further drive the mainstream adoption of "tokenized deposits".

He also reminds relevant participants that this is a high-risk short-term speculative endeavor.

Nate Geraci, president of The ETF Store, wrote in a post that while it would be positive if the CLARITY Act secures enough votes to advance this week, he does not believe the bill will be decisive for the crypto industry’s future. Under the Trump administration, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) can still leverage their existing authority to support crypto sector growth. The crypto industry is evolving far faster than policy-making cycles; by the time U.S. policymakers recognize the financial system has already upgraded, the trend may already be irreversible. The CLARITY Act will only serve as an additional catalyst, providing clearer policy expectations for the crypto sector by boosting market confidence that innovations will not be easily reversed, though the industry’s future does not hinge on the bill’s passage.
