Solana On-Chain Meme Token AOL Reaches $20 Million Market Cap, Surging 171% in 24 Hours

2025.08.15 17:16:19

On August 15th, according to GMGN data, the Solana-based Meme token AOL (America Online) has reached a market capitalization of over $20 million. It has seen a 24-hour price increase of 171% and a 24-hour trading volume of $7 million. America Online was once a dial-up Internet services company, symbolizing the narrative of "retro innovation" in technology. BlockBeats reminds users that Meme coins usually lack practical use cases and experience significant price volatility. Therefore, investment should be made with caution.

Nvidia adds an enhancement to Pi: AI agents independently identified four optimizations, cutting token usage by up to 64%.

Beating AI News (from Dongcha) reports that Nvidia’s NVLabs has open-sourced SoL-Pi, an efficiency optimization layer for the Pi coding agent harness. The research team built an automated workflow where multiple agents analyze Pi’s runtime trajectories, propose optimizations, modify code, and validate changes automatically. Out of 152 initial candidate optimization directions, only 4 were retained, all focused on cutting redundant overhead. These optimizations include: running tests immediately after code edits to eliminate one model call; storing read large files and long outputs locally for on-demand retrieval; deciding whether to compress context after subtask completion; and filtering key points from extremely long logs using cheaper models first, then cross-checking the content against the original logs. On EdgeBench, SoL-Pi uses 45%–49% fewer tokens than the original Pi, reducing costs by roughly a third. Compared to native harnesses like Codex and Claude Code, it cuts token usage by 35%–64% and lowers costs by 50%–54% based on official API pricing. That said, the cost savings come with a minor performance tradeoff: SoL-Pi retains approximately 94% of Pi’s average performance score. For example, in the 63 CPU tasks of Terminal-Bench 4, it solved 15 tasks, while both Codex and Pi solved 18 each.

Standard Chartered bullish on SKY: Target price of $0.325 by end-2028, with 5x upside potential from current levels.

Standard Chartered has initiated coverage on DeFi protocol Sky, setting a year-end 2028 target price of $0.325 for the SKY token, a five-fold increase from the $0.065 price cited in the report. The bank projects that as USDS adoption and lending capabilities expand, Sky will deliver more than five times its current value to token holders by 2028. Geoff Kendrick, global head of digital asset research at Standard Chartered, noted that Sky — formerly known as MakerDAO — is a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform that issues stablecoins, establishes governance frameworks, and charges wholesale rates to borrowers, positioning it as a "central bank-like" entity. Sky primarily delivers value to SKY holders through staking rewards, with token buybacks accounting for a smaller share of its value distribution. It is worth noting that Standard Chartered has initiated coverage on multiple crypto projects in its research reports this year, most of which have posted solid price gains following the release of its reports. Notably, its accurate prediction of UNI’s year-to-date target price has become its standout industry call.

More Uncertainty Over Interest Rate Hikes? Majority of Economists in Bloomberg Survey Expect Fed to Skip Rate Hikes This Year

Bloomberg conducted a new survey of 48 economists between September 4 and 9. The results showed only 13 respondents expected the U.S. Federal Reserve (Fed) to raise interest rates at its meeting this month. The vast majority of economists judged that, due to recent marginal slowdown in inflation and the approaching U.S. midterm elections, policymakers will keep rates on hold at both the September and October meetings. However, this institutional consensus leaning toward "patience" stands in stark contrast to market pricing: financial market investors currently assign a 70% probability to a rate hike next week. This sharp divergence in expectations largely reflects the extreme uncertainty surrounding the direction of short-term monetary policy under Fed Chair Wash. The resurgence of rate hike bets stems directly from the hawkish signals Wash delivered last month at the Jackson Hole Economic Symposium in Wyoming, where he warned that inflation had not seen meaningful moderation. In addition, the Fed’s October policy meeting is just a few days away from the U.S. midterm elections on November 3. Regarding this unique timing, half of the surveyed economists noted that the meeting’s proximity to the election means policymakers will need "particularly strong data" to dare adjust rates ahead of the vote. Still, 43% of respondents believe the election will not have a material impact on monetary policy decisions.

Tencent's T1 Team Specializes in Agent Long Tasks: Over 300 Consecutive Operation Rounds, Benchmark Score Rises by 20 Points

Beating AI Express News: Tencent has dedicated its Qwen3.5-122B-A10B model to training a terminal agent, resulting in T1. The agent is designed to handle complex tasks in Linux terminals, with each task capable of calling tools consecutively for over 300 rounds at maximum. Its score on Terminal-Bench 2.1 rose from 43.8% for the base model to 64.0%, an increase of 20.2 percentage points. The bulk of this gain came from reinforcement learning: SFT alone lifted the score to 49.4%, while subsequent reinforcement learning added another 14.6 points. The team prepared around 15,000 terminal tasks, each paired with an automated test. Even if the agent does not complete the entire task, it can earn corresponding rewards for meeting partial requirements. Long tasks present another challenge: when the agent performs actual work and later uses that experience for training, the same content may be re-split into different tokens, and the Mixture of Experts (MoE) may switch to a different set of experts. T1 records both the tokens generated at the time and the selected experts, and replicates these during training, reducing this training-inference gap by approximately one-third.

The community of STARLINK, a meme coin in the X Layer ecosystem, has opened a donation-based charity fund to deploy network services to disaster-hit areas and network deserts.

According to official news, the community of STARLINK, a meme token in the X Layer ecosystem, opened its community donation charity fund at 9:00. STARLINK launched on September 9 on Ignix, X Layer’s general launch platform, with SPCX as the pricing token for pool pairing. Transaction taxes are allocated to the vault and distributed to holders in SPCX; as of press time, its market capitalization exceeds $7.5 million. Per its announcement, the community fund is managed via a fixed address and multi-sig wallet. The principal of tokens donated to the fund remains untouched—actual expenditures are funded solely by dividends generated from these holdings, which will be used to purchase Starlink satellite internet equipment and deploy it to areas without internet access, including disaster-hit regions and network deserts. All fund inflows and outflows are verifiable on the X Layer blockchain. The project team stated it will continuously disclose donation lists, every equipment procurement voucher, deployment locations, and reconciliation records of dividend income and deployed device counts. As of press time, the fund’s donation address has received a total of 350 million STARLINK, equivalent to approximately $2.84 million. Ignix is X Layer’s general launch platform, allowing creators to customize buy and sell taxes, select vault templates, and bind AI Agents for launches. BlockBeats reminds users that related token prices are highly volatile with significant uncertainty, so users should exercise caution when investing.
