2025.01.26 17:20:24

January 26th. Virtuals Core Contributor everythingempty made an update on the social platform as follows: · Multi-Chain Expansion At present, we are expanding multi-chain support to incorporate Base and Solana. Builders now have the option to natively deploy their agents and corresponding tokens on either Base or Solana. The initial liquidity pools will be launched on Uniswap (Base) or Meteora (Solana). · Solana Platform Launch Timing We are planning to launch the Solana platform in the first week of February. The VIRTUAL/SOL liquidity pool is expected to become operational on the Solana chain in the coming days. The specific details are currently being finalized with LayerZero. · For Existing Agents on the Base Chain If existing agent teams want to expand their distribution channels on Solana: The Uniswap liquidity pool is locked for ten years and cannot be migrated. We are exploring ways to assist interested teams in using 50% of their cbbtc held in their agent wallets as a liquidity source to create a new liquidity pool on the Solana chain. At the same time, we are researching chain abstraction swaps to enable users to perform the following operations: Swap SOL for agents on Base. Swap ETH for agents on Solana.

Hyperliquid Plans to Add Token Denomination Adjustment Feature for HIP-1

Hyperliquid founder Jeff announced in a Discord post that, based on developer feedback, HIP-1 will add a deployer-controlled scaleWei feature. The feature enables atomic allocation of tokens from system addresses proportional to users’ holdings of reference tokens, and supports token denomination adjustments. During the adjustment window, unfilled orders will be canceled and re-placed at their actual proportion, while reverse adjustments can be executed via negative parameters. As EVM does not support equivalent atomic operations, relevant contracts may need to integrate custom balance handling logic.
