According to official announcements, the dYdX Treasury SubDAO has increased its delegated staking to 100.76 million DYDX tokens, including repurchased tokens in delegation for the first time. The SubDAO released the results of its seventh periodic staking plan review, noting that 25 transactions were approved in this round to adjust the delegation configuration of 25,873,915 DYDX. For the first time, 10,719,308 DYDX purchased via the repurchase program were added to the delegation, lifting the Treasury SubDAO’s total delegated staking from 90,041,355 DYDX to 100,760,663 DYDX. The adjustment also covers reallocation of existing delegations. Earlier, as the active validator set shrank from 31 to 21 on September 17, around 8.34 million DYDX were delegated to validators outside the active set, rendering them ineligible for rewards. The Treasury SubDAO consequently reallocated the relevant staked assets and raised its focus on validators’ governance participation: validators that have not participated in or abstained from governance votes recently will receive less new delegation.
