Pendle Co-founder: Pendle commands over 50% of the total TVL in yield-bearing DeFi protocols, aiming to build a complete yield layer

On May 27th, TN, a co-founder of Pendle, posted that Pendle has emerged as the largest protocol in the DefiLlama yield category, accounting for more than 50% of the total value locked in the sector. By 2024, it has settled PT (Principal Tokens) worth over $21 billion and generated more than $1.5 billion in revenue. The growth of Pendle has been driven by the widespread use of Pendle PT as collateral, and its deployment in the DeFi money market has reached a record high of over $1.8 billion. Today, PT itself has become an economic ecosystem and is moving towards the next stage of growth. It is expanding PT as a product to new users in traditional finance (TradFi) and non-EVM chains (such as Solana). Pendle's vision has always been to transform Pendle assets from "invisible receipt tokens" into yield-generating native assets that support the core of DeFi.
