Coinbase has selected Abu Dhabi as its global hub for advancing tokenized assets.

Coinbase is establishing its international tokenization hub in Abu Dhabi, which will serve as the regulatory base for the crypto exchange to tokenize traditional securities outside the United States. The company announced Tuesday that it has obtained a financial services license from the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), allowing it to arrange investment transactions and provide custodial services for tokenized securities. Coinbase said it plans to use this license to offer digital securities backed by underlying stocks. These tokens will be registered and issued in ADGM, and regulated by FSRA.

Inflation data keeps the market on edge, with US stocks trading at high levels as investors await clues about the Federal Reserve's interest rate moves.

According to market data from BIT (bit.com), U.S. stock index futures edged higher in pre-market trading on Tuesday, while oil prices erased earlier gains. This comes after Pakistan signaled that the U.S. and Iran are nearing an agreement, which is expected to ease tensions roiling energy markets. Meanwhile, traders are awaiting key inflation data to guide the Federal Reserve’s interest rate policy. Senior market analyst Daniela Hathorn noted: “Investors are increasingly pricing in a scenario where inflation continues to cool, the Fed stays patient, and earnings growth is sufficient to support elevated valuations. If the CPI data comes in mild again, it will reinforce this narrative and extend the rally; if the data exceeds expectations, it will push up U.S. Treasury yields and the dollar, forcing markets to re-examine whether recent optimism around policy and valuations is justified.”
