On August 3, shortly after the DORK token was deployed, the Matt Furie account released its official CA, followed the project’s account, and posted an artwork linking Pepe and Dork Lord. The tweet was later removed. On-chain analyst @StandartXBT’s analysis showed the deployer quickly executed bundled buying, liquidity extraction, and selling, withdrawing significant ETH profits from the initial capital. Around August 7, the Matt Furie account posted support for meme coin project BOYZ, calling it the only token he would endorse, stating creative collaboration with the team, and adding its official website and CA. The content was widely reposted by the project team and KOLs. On August 9, the Matt Furie account posted, “The answer has always been on my website,” attaching a screenshot of its official site showing a barely noticeable line on the sidebar: “my twitter is hacked- i do not endorse any shitcoins.” On-chain analyst @StandartXBT, via monitoring web archives, found the text was not present on the official site and had no prior traces on X, casting doubt on the credibility of the account’s claim.
