According to Digital Asset, South Korea’s National Police Agency has selected Dunamu, parent company of crypto exchange Upbit, via public tender to oversee the custody of seized virtual assets under a 1-year contract. The seized digital assets will be managed through Upbit Custody, the platform’s digital asset custody service, enabling real-time responses to regulatory infrastructure and round-the-clock custody and management throughout the 365-day term. The service uses 100% offline cold wallets, 24/7 monitoring, and incorporates MPC, DKG multi-key management, and multi-signature technologies to ensure asset isolation and security.
