Hyperliquid Research Collective (HRC) released its Q2 2026 report, stating that real-world asset (RWA) perpetual contract trading on the Hyperliquid platform continues to grow. Meanwhile, asset management firms including Hyperliquid Strategies have steadily built HYPE reserves; currently, funds and related treasuries hold approximately 7.7% of the total HYPE supply. On the data front, HYPE rose 79% in Q2, hitting a historical high of $76.90, while Bitcoin fell 14% over the same period. Hyperliquid protocol revenue recovered growth after hitting a bottom in April, with monthly revenue at quarter-end reaching $169 million, pushing cumulative protocol revenue past $1 billion, of which $141 million was returned to holders via buybacks.

Scammers exploit Europe’s new MiCA regulations to pose as regulators and defraud users of their assets.

According to a report by the Financial Times, after the transition period of the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation ended on July 1, impersonation scams targeting crypto users have risen. Scammers are posing as staff from the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF), or cryptocurrency exchange personnel, luring users to transfer assets to fake websites or wallets by falsely claiming platforms are unlicensed and assets need urgent migration. Data shows only 323 crypto firms have secured licenses so far; VASPnet estimates over 1,700 unlicensed entities may need to cease operations.
