Proof of Play announces it is ceasing operations; the Pirate Nation Foundation will continue to support the PIRATE token.
Web3 game developer Proof of Play announced in a statement that the company will cease operations. The team noted that when founded, it believed blockchain games held the potential to drive the next generation of decentralized internet, but ultimately failed to build a scalable product to validate this vision and a sustainable business model. Proof of Play will open its source code and art resources as much as possible, including the Pirate Nation Unity application, Pirate Nation smart contracts, and more. The Founder Pirates NFTs, Pirate Nation artworks, intellectual property, and trademarks have also been released under the CC0 license. The Pirate Nation Foundation is independent of Proof of Play, and will continue to support the PIRATE token while its website remains operational. However, Proof of Play points will no longer be redeemable for any content. Additionally, Shiba Story Go! has been acquired by a third party and will operate independently going forward.

Cantor Fitzgerald: SK Hynix ADR share price could double in the next 12 months, with a target price of $300.
According to CNBC, SK Hynix has been covered by multiple Wall Street investment banks following its U.S. listing. Cantor Fitzgerald set a $300 price target for the stock, implying over 100% upside from its Monday closing price of $142.72, citing expectations that AI infrastructure construction will continue to drive demand for DRAM, NAND, and HBM. Cantor analyst C.J. Muse noted that bit demand for DRAM and NAND is likely to significantly outpace supply through at least 2029. Clients including NVIDIA and Alphabet are locking in production capacity via multi-year contracts, with some agreements covering purchase volumes, price ranges, advance payments, and default clauses—boosting the profitability and order visibility of memory chip makers. Other investment banks also hold a positive outlook on SK Hynix, with Bank of America, Stifel, and Royal Bank of Canada setting price targets of $250, $240, and $200 respectively. Royal Bank of Canada projects the firm’s operating margin will rise to 86% next year from 76% in the second quarter. Stifel cited key risks including product obsolescence due to technological iteration and over-concentration of demand among a small number of U.S. hyperscale cloud service providers. SK Hynix’s American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) began trading on a when-issued basis on the Nasdaq on July 10. According to Bank of America data, the firm raised approximately $26.5 billion by selling 178 million shares.

A prominent trader: Bitcoin has entered the bottom zone and is accumulating BTC in the range of $54,000 to $64,000.
Well-known trader Doctor Profit stated in a post that he did not short Bitcoin (BTC) precisely at the $125,000 peak, but instead built short positions gradually in the $115,000 to $125,000 range, sold all his BTC holdings, and opened large-scale short positions, while concluding that the current bull market has ended. He has now set BTC’s buying range at $54,000 to $64,000 and is executing purchases per this plan. Doctor Profit added that he cannot predict the exact bottom, noting he is more adept at identifying price zones, and the current buying range signals his view that BTC has entered the bottom area, with him preparing accordingly.
