The Viction Foundation announced on social media that, as part of Binance’s regular review cycle, its native token VIC will be delisted in line with the exchange’s internal standards. This decision does not reflect any changes to the project’s fundamentals or operations. Viction’s mainnet has operated stably for 8 years, the network remains fully functional, the team continues to advance development work, and upcoming network upgrades will not be impacted by the exchange’s move. The team is maintaining close communication with existing exchange partners to ensure smooth trading experiences, while actively expanding partnerships with more exchanges to strengthen multi-channel liquidity and reduce overreliance on a single platform. The development roadmap is proceeding as planned and is unaffected. Exchanges are merely distribution channels that do not define the protocol itself, with more updates set to be released soon.

BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes has said that attention should be paid to the release of this week’s Federal Reserve’s H.4.1 report, to confirm whether Japan’s Ministry of Finance repurchased its government bonds in exchange for U.S. dollars, then sold those bonds to buy yen. If the U.S. Treasury Secretary successfully raises the counterparty limit, the Federal Reserve can create money using Japan’s Ministry of Finance’s government bonds as collateral.

According to Yonhap News Agency, a poll released on Monday shows that South Korean President Lee Jae-myung’s approval rating has fallen to its lowest level since he took office last June, driven by controversies including the stock market slump. According to monitoring by Onchain Lens, a Bitcoin whale that had been dormant for four years transferred 730 BTC (valued at approximately $46.12 million) to a brand-new wallet one hour ago. Strategists say the U.S. Treasury may fund its yen-buying plan with euros instead of dollars, to avoid devaluing its own currency and undermining its strong dollar policy. Two people with knowledge of the matter said the Federal Reserve Bank of New York last Friday asked at least two large U.S. banks to check the yen-euro exchange rate. “The U.S. likely does not want to be seen selling dollars,” said David Forrester, senior strategist at Crédit Agricole in Singapore. He added: “The U.S. maintains a strong dollar policy and does not want to be seen trying to gain a competitive edge by weakening its own currency, as that would violate the G20’s consensus on foreign exchange policies. It would be bad optics for the U.S. Treasury to sell dollars, so it is opting to use euros instead.” Jason Wong, currency strategist at Bank of New Zealand in Wellington, noted: “The end result is effectively the same, as the funds will eventually need to be reallocated back to euros at some point. This could mean the U.S. will still end up selling dollars, but in a less transparent manner.”
