Leading asset management firm Blue Owl Capital saw its credit business slow, with its Q2 fund-raising hitting a three-year low.

Blue Owl Capital raised roughly $7.6 billion in total fundraising for Q2 2026, a sharp decline from the $12.1 billion it secured in the year-ago period. Its flagship private credit business only pulled in around $1.8 billion—about half of the prior quarter’s haul and the lowest single-quarter level since 2023. The drop was driven primarily by turmoil in the private credit market and redemption waves from high-net-worth individual investors, particularly for its non-traded BDC products. By contrast, real estate and real asset strategies (including those tied to AI data centers) performed strongly, accounting for the bulk of new fundraising. The firm’s assets under management (AUM) still expanded to approximately $319 billion, with profit metrics meeting or slightly outperforming expectations. Blue Owl Capital Inc. is a leading New York-headquartered alternative asset management firm focused on private market capital solutions. As of the end of June 2026, its AUM stood at roughly $319 billion.

Michael Saylor: The goal is to push STRC back to its peg around September 8.

Strategy founder Michael Saylor stated during today's earnings call: "When STRC went public, it took us approximately 70 trading days to return to par value. Some may have forgotten our IPO was priced at $90, and it took 70 days to rebound to par. If we count from when STRC fell below the $99–$100 trading range, 40 trading days have elapsed as of today. Taking May 28, the day it broke below the range, as the starting point, counting forward 70 trading days lands around September 8. We are closely monitoring this date and tracking our progress. We will focus on restoring STRC to health. We believe that since we achieved this within 70 days post-IPO, setting a 70-day recovery target after breaking below the range is reasonable. We have sufficient means to bring STRC back to par value."

Ready suspends its card services due to card issuer Kulipa ceasing operations; user assets remain unaffected.

Co-founder of self-custody wallet Ready, Itamar Lesuisse, stated that Paris-based crypto card issuer Kulipa has suddenly ceased operations. Ready shut down its card business on Wednesday, with automatic refunds for eligible card subscriptions. Due to Ready’s self-custody model, user assets remain unimpacted; the card deducts funds directly from users’ wallets at the time of transaction, meaning Kulipa held no customer balances when it suspended operations. Ready is currently developing follow-up products based on new infrastructure. Previously, Solflare announced that its card-issuing partner Kulipa stopped operations due to solvency issues.
