ARK Invest Research Head Lorenzo Valente published a report noting Blockworks data indicates Hyperliquid’s real-world asset (RWA) transactions built on the HIP-3 protocol are growing rapidly. Last week, Hyperliquid’s RWA trading volume surpassed crypto asset trading for the first time, accounting for 54% of the platform’s total trading volume. Individual stock trading emerged as the fastest-growing segment: since June, its volume has outpaced indices and commodities, now making up roughly 61% of Hyperliquid’s total RWA volume, signaling on-chain financial markets are expanding beyond pure crypto assets to traditional assets. Data shows last week, total perpetual contract trading volume across decentralized exchanges (DEXs) hit ~$79 billion, with Hyperliquid contributing ~$50 billion. Of that, HIP-3 RWA volume reached $26 billion—even exceeding the combined crypto perpetual contract volume of all other DEXs. RWA trading may not fully consolidate around existing crypto trading platforms; distinct asset classes could develop their own leading players, and future competition among trading platforms may shift from vying for crypto asset traffic (such as BTC, ETH, SOL) to competing for on-chain trading demand for real assets like stocks and commodities.

According to monitoring by Onchain Lens, a single entity has staked 1.49 million HYPE tokens across 8 wallets, valued at approximately $88.2 million. The individual stake amounts of these wallets range from 115,700 to 390,400 HYPE each. All 8 wallets previously accumulated HYPE via Bybit, withdrew the tokens to the blockchain around 9 months ago, held them continuously, and only recently initiated the stake.

Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest bought 160,151 Tesla shares on Thursday, worth approximately $51.2 million; purchased 130,136 Circle shares, valued at around $8.09 million; and acquired 48,377 Securitize shares, totaling about $350,000. Separately, Ark Invest sold 976,368 Figma shares for roughly $19.52 million, and offloaded 40,553 Robinhood shares worth around $4.12 million.

According to official announcements, decentralized exchange (DEX) aggregator ODOS has announced it will cease operations following an evaluation. Its applications will enter read-only mode on July 27, 2026, with all services permanently shut down on July 30. The platform stated users can still perform swaps and close positions normally for now, but new user registrations, new wallet creation, and limit order functions have been disabled since July 23. ODOS emphasized it operates on a non-custodial model, meaning users retain full control of their assets (stored on-chain) and the platform never holds user funds. For users who created wallets via social media accounts or email, ODOS reminds them to either transfer assets or export private keys before July 30. After service closure, users will still be able to view historical transaction records and account balances, but the team will no longer provide product development, technical support, or maintenance. The official added users need not worry about asset safety, but recommends migrating to alternative services as soon as possible. Additionally, ODOS noted the ODOS token remains independent on the blockchain; the company will not custody, operate, or make a market for the token, and the platform’s shutdown will not alter its on-chain operating mechanism. The ODOS DAO is independent of the operating company, and future plans will be announced separately by the DAO. The official also warned no new products, token migrations, claim events, or airdrops will be launched in the future. Any attempts to induce users to act via direct messages, fake customer service, or "migration websites" may be scams, and users must never disclose their mnemonics or sign suspicious transactions.
