European humanoid robot firm Humanoid closes $152 million Series A funding round.

According to a Forbes report, London-based humanoid robotics startup Humanoid, founded just two years ago, developed its humanoid robot HMND 01 at a pace nearly matching industry records. Today, Humanoid announced the close of its $152 million Series A financing round, with a post-money valuation of $1.35 billion. The round was led by Prime Movers Lab, with participation from German industrial giants Schaeffler and Bosch, as well as Aglaé Ventures, an investment firm backed by the family of LVMH founder Bernard Arnault. This financing comes just months after the company signed a key commercial partnership. Earlier, Humanoid reached a 1,000-unit humanoid robot procurement deal with Schaeffler, and with Bosch’s support, secured production capacity that will enable it to achieve an output of 100,000 robots over the next five years.
