Samsung surpasses NVIDIA to become the world's most profitable company.

According to Gelonghui reports, Samsung Electronics disclosed in its preliminary earnings report that its operating profit for the April-June quarter this year is projected to reach 89.4 trillion won, equivalent to approximately $584 billion, setting a new quarterly record. The figure represents a 56% quarter-over-quarter increase from the prior quarter and exceeds analysts' average forecast of 84.2 trillion won. For the same period, Samsung's revenue is expected to hit 171 trillion won, surpassing the market estimate of 169.2 trillion won and rising roughly 129% year-over-year. The company plans to release its full financial report on July 30, which will include net profit and segmented data for each business unit. The report noted that Samsung's quarterly operating profit has surpassed Nvidia, making it the global company with the highest quarterly operating profit.
