The U.S. Air Power Buildup in the Middle East Is the Largest Since 2003

Feb 19 — The U.S. has deployed its largest air force presence in the Middle East since the 2003 Iraq invasion, The Times of Israel reported. The deployment includes dozens of aircraft (F-16s, F-22s, F-35s) and multiple aircraft carriers.
