Hyperliquid Co-founder: ADL will not transfer PnL to HLP, its treatment towards users and HLP is fully symmetric

On December 10, Hyperliquid co-founder Jeff published a post pushing back against claims that the platform’s Auto-Deleveraging (ADL) mechanism transfers profit and loss (P&L) to Hyperliquidity Providers (HLP). The decision will release at 3:00 AM Beijing time (UTC+8) on Thursday, followed by a monetary policy press conference with Fed Chair Jerome Powell at 3:30 AM Beijing time. Per CME FedWatch, there’s an 87.6% chance of a 25-basis-point rate cut, making a cut tonight all but certain. But the week’s biggest Fed highlight isn’t the rate cut — it’s whether the central bank will signal new liquidity injections and how "politicized" disagreements among officials will reshape 2026 monetary policy direction. Markets are watching for a "balance sheet expansion signal" post-decision. After quietly ending its balance sheet runoff, how the Fed manages its massive holdings and whether it will inject fresh liquidity are key questions. Bank of America’s global rates strategy team said Friday it expects the Fed to announce this week it will begin purchasing U.S. Treasuries with maturities of
